The insta-RELAY! product supports a modular architecture, separating the user interface, features, and functionality set from the lower level protocols (SIP and RTP). This abstraction allows insta-RELAY! to offer a consistent user interface and feature set, regardless of the underlying protocol and allows for rapid integration of emerging protocols. This architecture also allows insta-RELAY! to be easily branded for OEM Partners.

The insta-RELAY! client is a Windows-based SIP endpoint that integrates voice and data to provide a secure, enterprise-wide communication solution to a team-oriented workplace. The product was developed to provide spontaneous and real-time communications within an enterprise. The application uses a Buddy lists style GUI to provide an effective means of spontaneous communications by providing presence and availability information in real-time.
Both the insta-RELAY! Management Server and the insta-RELAY! Server can reside on the same server; in fact, this is highly encouraged.
